  This is one of the better Jo Ann Fabrics locations in the Baltimore region. The store is a little small, but they pack in a lot of selection. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. If you can, I recommend making the trip down to the Columbia, MD location, but this one is a close second.

  I have never seen a staff so willing to help and so noon judgemental. I am a guy who happens to enjoy cross stitch, and not only have they gone above and beyond with suggestions and tips, they have never once treated me different for it.

  Joann fabrics misses what michaels and hobby lobby do better, which is manage to create a pleasant environment to shop in that nourishes creative spirit. Walking through a Joann Fabrics makes you feel like you're crashing your grandmothers sewing club meeting. The staff is unfriendly or unhelpful and the layout is inscrutable. This is not a unique experience to this Joanns but this one is even worse than most.
